- Low-energy cooling that reduces reliance on air conditioning
- Better air circulation for bedrooms, living spaces and alfresco areas
- Winter reverse mode helps push warm air down for cosier rooms
- Huge choice of sizes and styles to match your space
- Quick, neat installation by an experienced electrician
Supply options (your fan or ours)
• Supply & install: We can recommend and supply reliable, good-looking models that suit your room size, ceiling height and style.
• Install your fan: Prefer to choose the exact look? Buy the fan you love and our electrician will install it to code.
The right fan for the room (quick sizing guide)
• Bedrooms (2.7 - 3.3 m rooms): typically 106 - 122 cm
• Living areas (3.5 - 5 m rooms): typically 132 - 142 cm
• Large/open-plan: 152 cm and above, or use two fans
• High or raked ceilings: add a drop rod so the fan sits at the optimal height
• Outdoors/coastal: choose ABS blades and weather-ready finishes Your electrician confirms joist position, mounting method, drop-rod length, and safe clearances.
DC vs AC motors (briefly)
• DC fans: whisper-quiet, very low running costs, more speed steps and “sleep” modes - ideal for bedrooms and energy-savvy homes.
• AC fans: proven, sturdy and budget-friendly with simple controls. We’ll recommend the best fit for your room and controls.

FAQs
Can you install a fan where there isn’t one now?
Yes. Our electrician can run new wiring and mount the fan safely. If you’d rather avoid extra cabling, choose a remote-controlled fan.
Are ceiling fans energy-efficient?
Very. Fans cost a fraction to run compared with air conditioning, so most clients use fans daily and reserve AC for extreme heat.
Do fans help in winter?
Yes. Reverse mode circulates warm air back down from the ceiling, improving comfort and reducing heater run time.
Remote, wall or smart control-what should I pick?
Remotes avoid extra cabling, wall controllers are simple at the doorway, and smart options add app/voice control and schedules. We can set up whichever you prefer.
Can you supply the fan, or should I buy one?
Either. We’re happy to supply and install, or we can install a fan you provide.
