Is Ajax a wireless alarm system?

Ajax has a large range of wireless security devices that communicate with an Ajax hub. The exact combination of equipment and communications used depends on the system we design for the property.

Can I control Ajax from my phone?

Yes. Ajax apps can be used by authorised users to control the system, view its status and receive security notifications. We can also include physical controls such as a wall keypad where required.

What is Ajax photo verification?

Compatible Ajax MotionCam detectors can provide images associated with an alarm event. This gives you additional information about what caused the detector to activate rather than receiving only a basic alarm notification.

Do I need cameras throughout my house?

Not necessarily. Intrusion detection and photo verification are different from a conventional CCTV system. We'll discuss what level of visual security is appropriate for the property rather than automatically installing cameras everywhere.

Can Ajax protect doors and windows?

Yes. Compatible Ajax opening detectors can form part of the system where selected doors or windows need to be monitored.

Can you install an outside siren?

Yes. Compatible Ajax internal and external sirens can be incorporated into the system where suitable.

Will the system work with pets?

Pet movement needs to be considered when designing motion detection. Tell us about any pets in the property and we'll take that into account when specifying detector types and locations.

Can you replace my existing alarm?

Yes. If you already have an alarm system, tell us the brand and condition in the form above. We'll assess what is involved in replacing the existing equipment and whether any part of the existing installation is relevant to the new system.

Is Ajax suitable for a business?

Ajax can be configured for many homes, offices, shops, workshops and other commercial properties. The appropriate system depends on the building layout, access points and required level of protection.

How much does an Ajax security system cost?

There isn't one useful fixed price because the number and type of detectors, controls, sirens and other devices can vary considerably between properties. Complete our system planner above and we'll use your requirements to work out the appropriate scope.

Can I add more devices later?

Ajax systems are designed to support multiple compatible devices, so systems can generally be expanded within the capabilities of the hub and system configuration. We'll take future requirements into account when designing the initial installation.
